Dr. Sagan named a Tier I Canada Research Chair in RNA Biology & Viral Infections!

On Jun 14th, 2024, the Government of Canada announced more than $693.8 million in funding for discovery and applied research, including naming Dr. Sagan a Canada Research Chair (CRC) in RNA Biology & Viral Infections. This helps support the Sagan Lab’s efforts to understand the biology of pathogenic RNA viruses of public health concern.
