Congratulations to Sophie Cousineau who was awarded the 2019-2020 Wilfred Yaphe Award

Sophie Cousineau is one of two Ph.D. students in the Department of Microbiology & Immunology to win this year’s Dr. Wilfred Yaphe Award for the top Ph.D. seminar in the Microbiology & Immunology student seminar series. Sophie’s seminar was entitled “Dissecting the roles of poly(rC)-binding proteins in the hepatitis C virus life cycle” and described her Ph.D. research to date, which she is currently writing up for publication. Congratulations Sophie!
