Congratulations to Jasmin Chahal who was awarded the 2018-2019 Wilfred Yaphe Award!

Jasmin Chahal is one of two Ph.D. students in the Microbiology & Immunology Department to win this year’s Dr. Wilfred Yaphe Award for the top Ph.D. seminar in the Microbiology & Immunology student seminar series. Jasmin’s seminar, which was entitled “hAgo2:miR-122 interactions with the HCV genome alter the secondary structure of the viral 5’ terminus”, described her recently published work in Nucleic Acids Research. Congratulations Jasmin!
