A warm welcome to Jasmin Baby!

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Jasmin Baby to the Sagan Lab! Jasmin joins us as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Microbiology & Immunology. Jasmin completed an M.Sc. in Applied Microbiology at the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) in India and her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences at United Arab Emirates University in the UAE before joining us here at UBC. Jasmin joins the HCV subgroup in the Sagan Lab where she is studying the miRNA enhancing complex and the switch from translation to replication in the HCV life cycle.
